Well, it's been a while since I've been here. Life gets in the way sometimes. I was so mad about the latest gardasil hoo ha I needed to think "beads" to cool off.
I checked my Google Alerts for beadwork. The headline "Do You Torture Your Beads?" caught my attention and as I looked around innocently thinking who, me? I clicked on the link to this blog post by Michelle Mach, the editor of Beadwork Magazine.
It did the job. I'm sitting here laughing remembering some of my bead disasters, which I refuse to share. I don't do well at laughing at myself to others. (really, I'm working on it, but just haven't gotten comfortable with that yet)
I really enjoyed reading of intentional and unintentional torturing of beads and jewelry making supplies.
So how about you? Do you torture your beads? :) Or have you been so busy enjoying the nice weather you haven't had time to bead?

I read the same article. I had a good laugh at myself as well. I've had plenty of bead disasters most all unintentional. My vacuum has sucked up plenty of beads.
